Manchester City's form this season haven't been so good. They were on a long losing/draw streak until they picked up some wins recently.

They played against Brentford last night in the English Premier League. After going 0-2 up in second half, they surprisingly conceded two quick goals at the end of the game.

How bad would this be again for the team's confidence?

You guys should stop acting like Manchester City willingly gave the lead away. Give the deserved credits to Brentford for their resilience despite trailing by 2 goals against City.
They showed great teamwork and determination to rescue a point against the cityzens; so for me, City didn't throw away the lead, they were caught off guard by a good Brentford side.

If your goalkeeper did what Ortega did that helped Brentford to score their second goal, I wonder what you're going to say or think. Don't get me wrong, I don't support Manchester City because I'm a Manchester United fan but drawing that game in that manner was awful.

Man City have been diabolic so far this season. I follow football a lot, especially the Premier League, and I've mentioned in other threads that the main reason I think Man City have been so inconsistent this season is the loss of Rodri through injury. Rodri has easily become one of the best midfielders in the world in his time at City and his performances for Spain helping them win the Euros just went to show just how good of a player he really is. I don't think it's a coincidence that their huge downturn in form has been in sync with his absence through a serious season-ending injury.

They simply capitalized on the mistake and made the most of it. Who wouldn't?
In any case, City have not been at their best form recently.

Recently, I learnt about Pep Guardiola'divorce with his wife and I can say that it's playing a big role in him not being able to get his head in the game to pull City out of this poor form. The divorce is over and I hope he gets things right but I'm sure City will never sack him.
