I know it is too early in the season because the teams have only played 11 games, but is Man City weaker this season than it was last season?

With their latest EPL losses to Brighton and Bournemouth in the Premier League coupled with losses to Sporting in the Champions League and Tottenham in the EFL cup, Manchester City has lost four straight games for the first time in Pep Guardiola's managerial career.

Guardiola says that the losses are due to the team's injuries, saying the team cannot cope with the current injury situation and the fast-paced fixtures. Among the injured Man City players are star players like Rodri, Rúben Dias, John Stones, Manuel Akanji, and Nathan Aké. Kevin De Bruyne, a player city relies on a lot, is not as sharp as he should be or fit enough on his return.

Given all these and the latest losses, do you think City is crumbling? Do you think they will lick up any silverware this season?

Guess who they are facing next? Tottenham Hotspurs. They've got a bad record against Spurs, maybe another defeat is loading?
I know City tends to shine towards the end of the season, but another loss at this stage might just do so much damage that they are unable to catch up when they need it. However, that does not mean the teams around the like Liverpool and Arsenal cannot collapse and leave the race wide open.

Even though City are showing signs of a slump, it is still too early to say that they are crumbling. Remember that they have a master tactician in Pep still managing them. And he can always turn things around within a short time. City is struggling but ain't crumbling.

Anyone can bet me here. Despite the struggles of Man City and Pep, they would seriously contend for the title by the end of the season. The resurgence is already underway.

No will beat you because of your own opinion and coming to look at it, you're not entirely wrong. Even with all the bad form they had, they are still in the top 4 which isn't too far out from Liverpool on top of the table. Anything is possible!

This season is not definitely for Man City. They are currently 5th on the table having played one more game than the leader, Liverpool. In fact they trail Liverpool with 12 points. Chelsea and Arsenal are also above Man City. They are also not doing well in Europe.

Liverpool doesn't have a 12 points lead until they have played their one outstanding match. I can't understand why fans give them the 3 points like they have already won the match.
