other Blogging

For topics that don’t fit into other categories but still relate to hobbies and interests.
Are any of you out there bloggers?
My wife and I were quite the bloggers for about 2 years before the pandemic. She would come up with some great ideas, we would go out to do whatever it is we were going to write about, she, even though I am a photographer, would take the shots for the blog, and we would put our pieces together for a final edit.

We were doing a geo-blog focused on tourism.

I loved just being with my wife on, essentially, paid dates because the blog supported that. What I hated was the meticilious planning that would be involved at times, as it couldn't just be a spur of the moment "date" type thing at times. We would have to stay focused on the roadmap we laid out to fill the blog so that it would continually rank and bring in that bread.

Because it was so heavily focused on tourism, we decided to close it down when the government issued warnings for non-essential travel. We didn't want to become the black sheep by disregarding such warnings, even though they were just that, warnings and unenforceable due to the Constitution; the Japanese just followed them because of their collective nature.

What about you? What topics do you like covering the most and what topics the least? Do topics you don't like covering do any better than the ones you enjoy the most? How many blogs can you maintain?

I picked up one domain that would be a good name for a "blog" style website for information on a subject, but I haven't put it together yet.

I have 3 active niche blogs. I post once a week on each of them. They're all monetized with ads and making money. I also have 2 other blogs that I plan to turn into niche blogs.

My 3 active blogs are:
  1. A blog about blogging
  2. A blog about local hiking
  3. A blog about cycling
The two I'm working on:
  1. A blog about local cycling
  2. A blog about outdoor content creators
My least favorite blogging niche is personal blogging. I just don't know what to post. I tried personal or daily life vlogging, too. I just am not that exciting for it, LOL.

Ever since I created my first self hosted blog in 2015, I think I have created over 50 blogs. I have sold most of them. Before Covid Pandemic and until the early stage of pandemic, selling blogs was my primary earning methods. Currently, I have three blogs, personal blog, multi topic blog and travel and food blog.

I love to see collaborative effort especially when it's from the couples. Frankly speaking, I'm completely impressed with what you guys share. Unfortunately, my partner and I are not in the same field. He is a businessman and does not know anything about blogs. I started blogging in 2021 but I never took it seriously. One thing I learnt is that blogging can help to hone our skills in writing. Do you still blog with your wife?

It is quite impressive! Managing three niche blogs is no easy fit. When I was still actively involved in blogging, I had to blog myself. One is on personal finance and the other on fashion and style. To succeed in this business, consistency is very crucial and once you can maintain that, you are on track. Do you care to share your blogging workflow strategy?

This is mind-blowing! In fact I am famished. I've never seen someone who created 50 blogs in my entire life. It's really an incredible achievement. I’m so sure, you must have experimented with different niches and I guess you should also have a wealth of experiences on them. Can you pinpoint what really interests you in creating so many blogs? I like to hear from you.

I write every day. I usually finish (writing and editing) a 1,500-word article in 2-3 days. Immediately after I'm done, I start the next one. I have three articles I'm working on at a time. It's a pretty flow for me :)
