I like both the Windows and macOs because I have used both. But I'm carried away with the customization options of windows and its gaming capabilities. Don't get me wrong! I’m not saying that Mac isn’t good either. I'm really curious to know your thoughts about the both.

Which one do you prefer between Windows and Mac?

I loved MacOS, but I didn't like the price of Apple proprietary/products that much.

I've considered building a dual-boot Hackintosh before, but I prefer having a laptop. I'm sure there are some laptops capable of dual booting, but I don't want to be restricted to having to select one just for that purpose.

I'm a loyal Windows user. I cannot use a Mac for most programs I like to use, because they don't have a compatible version. I also feel like macs are much more restricted, and expensive.
I had to buy Parallels Desktop for this purpose. And being on an Air, running MacOS in the "background" while working on Windows in the foreground pushed its processing power to the peak.

I'm sure a top-of-the-line Macbook Pro could do much better, but some tasks were way too CPU/memory-heavy on the Air, albeit still useable.

This will be anticlimactic.

The real answer is that It depends. There is no objective way to say which is better unless you set out clear parameters for selection.

Which OS is better for programming and related tasks? macOS.
Which one is better for gaming? Windows.

The list goes on and on.

I see operating systems as tools that do a specific job. Pick one that does what you want and stick with it. You will be much happier in the long run.

I do not use Mac but I have an impression that Mac is better than Windows. I have been using Windows for almost all my life and I know the vulnerabilities with Windows but I have not seen too many people complain Mac.

Macs are safe, and anyone can use them. Windows is cheaper and compatible with many equipment. It depends on what you need. Windows pleases some and Mac pleases others. Both are good but not without some drawbacks.

Compatibility and customisation are the problems with Mac OS. This is why some people prefer installing windows on their MacBook.

I've been using Widows for a while now. It gives me what I need, and I've been really good with using that than making use of others. My laptop is on Windows, and I see no concern at all.
