We all get/feel anxious from time-to-time, and various things can trigger these kinds of feelings...

What kinds of things make you anxious?

For me, one of the biggest things is if I'm running late for something. Even if the timing doesn't particularly matter or isn't important, I absolutely hate being late or not being on time for something I've planned!

I easily become stressed when I have to speak in public or when there is to much noise. I too get stressed when there are many assignments to Complete and very little time. It is also important to me to be punctual!
There are things that cause people to feel afraid. For me, I find it hard to coup with public speaking and loud noise. It’s just like a big knot in my tummy. But because I knew it, it's much more easier to deal with it. It helps me learn how I can improve on it.

This is one thing that I hate doing, but can if I have to.

What makes me anxious beyond that are large open, but enclosed, spaces. An example of that would be a warehouse, which is odd because I had to work in a warehouse before to get by, so I should have overcome that after that experience.

Flying also makes me anxious, but I love taking off and landing.
Walking around in a bad neighborhood with lots of shady looking people around who are up to no good.
You would never get that feeling here in Japan, once assimilated, as it's relatively safe anywhere at all hours of the day.

There's crime, but it's petty crime at most. At worst, there have been murders, but it's so rare here that it's shocking, and community rocking, when it does happen.

Just to give you an example of how comfortable and safe I feel here, I often don't worry about locking my car or even my house, and never get that nagging, "Did I lock the door?" question that comes to most people's minds.

I've accidentally left $1000 in a cash envelope (from an ATM, so there'd be a 50-50 shot there'd be money in it from a thieve's perspective) in my windshield window during a festival, with 100s to 1000s of cars parked, and maybe 10,000s in attendance, and it was in place when I returned to my unlocked car.

Anything can make some anxious the body responds in many different ways. i do get anxious when awaiting news for something important it just depend.
The feeling of anxiety means different things to different people. I understand that it's even worse when you're waiting for some very important news to be revealed. The thing is, anticipation and lack of understanding eBay would come out in the end can create a lot of mental stress. It is quite natural to overthink in such situations.

It seems the areas you are in is very secure. It's so surprising that people trust their belongings with others and that is great. It’s even more surprising finding it comfortable enough to leave car or house unlock and leaving a large amount of cash in them. It shows the low crime rate and high security in the society.
