Binge watching is a common habit of people who like to watch TV show. They never watch just one episode at a time, they binge watch multiple episodes. When you binge watch a show, what factors keep you binge watching. What kinds of shows that you think are worthy of binge watching?

In my opinion, a TV show becomes binge-worthy when it has an interesting storyline or plot, impressive visual appeal, strong pacing, and elements that I can relate to. We all have different views on what makes a TV show binge-worthy, and that's perfectly fine. To each his own. Hehe

I'd say this is a pretty accurate view of whether I find a show binge-worthy or not too. However, I would like a full season to be dropped with at least plans to produce a second announced before I get wrapped up in a series. I'd hate to watch an incomplete story, but, have enjoyed some series that end sooner than planned.

I think it's a combination of the story, characters, and pacing. If you get one of these wrong, the show becomes less intriguing and people are less likely to spend hours going through episode after episode.

Well said, a show becomes great or binge worthy only when it has a great story, interesting characters, technically sound and filmed very welll

I rarely binge watch nowadays. But when I do, trust me it is because it is well worth it. One thing I appreciate about about TV shows is the ability to instill suspense in the viewers. If I have to wonder what happens next, I will have no choice but to keep watching. This leads me to binging sometimes.
Tension created by a show is one thing that make people find themselves glued on their TV set. It makes you sit there, I keep wondering, what happens next? You can’t help but want to watch on. Suspense and drama always makes me want to see more. This automatically makes it difficult not to continue watching more and more of the show.

Personally, there are few factors that I consider important for a show to be binge worthy. I look at the plot, which must be gripping and i also want the characters to be realistic as much as possible. This is why I love series like Breaking Bad.
I agree with you. A good plot and realistic characters are very important as it will compell me to binge watch. I also prefer shows with good character developments.

A great plot, focused storylines and something I can immerse myself in when I am watching a TV show is what I would say makes a TV show binge-worthy.

If I can't get hooked or pulled into the storyline, I tend to turn the TV show off.

I do agree with you both. Some of the things that make me watch a specific TV show include; a good plot and characters. I also believe that ambience and music can also enhance the show. All of these combined makes it very hard not to get engrossed and end up watching a whole season in one sitting.
