Even though the last season of House fell off with missing characters and a seemingly lower budget or production, I was too invested to see how House's life would end.

I was satisfied to see what you could only assume was his ultimate goal in life was, as he pushed everyone away, and done so through his regular shenanigans.

Actually, a lot of shows have ended unexpectedly, the only difference is some ending, despite being unexpected are well appreciated where as some get backlash, take Game of Thrones for example.
