Someone just told me that as an adult, you have no business watching movies for hours at a stretch. Anyone that does that simply doesn't have a job or something better to do.
How true is this?
How true is this?
That's a good analysis. 2 people can finish their tasks at different times because one has better time management than the other, which then affords the former the comfort of watching some movies. Not true at all. You could just have better time management than them.
I would suspect someone that says this does what's needed to be done in bursts with breaks in between over finishing everything at once.
Some can layer tasks such as popping in the laundry, moving to dishes, swapping the clothes from the washer to dryer, finishing up in the kitchen, preparing the bedroom, and then folding and putting away the clothes. On the other hand, there are people that can't multi-task and put the clothes in the washer, take a break, start the dishes, take a break, move the laundry to the dryer, take a break... Of course the latter won't have time to binge watch anything, because they're not making the best of their time.
I would suspect there's a little jealousy from a statement like that, but deep down, they know they could if they pushed a little harder.
You do you, and if you want to make use of your extra time to binge watch something, that's for you to decide.
