fitness Supplements

This general fitness thread covers all aspects of fitness, including workouts, nutrition, wellness tips, lifestyle changes, and fitness advice.
Do you take supplements at all?
I take a 40+ vitamin, even though I'm in my upper 30s, just to give me the vitamins I may be missing from my (awesomely) prepared meals.

I also take TUDCA for liver protection and Omega-3s for cholesterol.

If you count protein bars as supplements, I also have up to 1 of them a day (a 30g bar).

I might need to look into a 40+ vitamin. I've been taking a general adult one but now I'm 40 so maybe I am missing something.

Omega 3 is something I need to start taking.

Right now, I take an adult multivitamin (gummy), cinnamon (capsule), and probiotics (gummy) for my gut health. I take a generic Nexium every other day for my digestive problems (GERD) and an antihistamine nightly for my sinus issues.

I also drink a lot of hot tea and chi tea with ginger for my digestive issues.

They stopped carrying the adult ones a while ago, so I just assumed being in my upper 30s, a 40s vitamin couldn't hurt.

I have them and need to be more consistent with them, as well as do blood draws to see the most effective dose that keeps my cholesterol at a healthy level. I don't think the recommended dose can do that for me, as cholesterol will spike, and go down, and back up, depending on when I get my testosterone shots.

The only tea I drink is green tea, which I suppose is good for cancer. I might have a 500 mL bottle or two of it per week, though. Not very big into tea, unless it's black tea (unsweetened) at the drink bar and free; I'll go for the unsweetened black tea over a sugary drink any day.
