Spotify and YouTube music are two of the most popular music streaming platforms that we have, and the good thing is that both of them offer both free and premium services. Which one of them is your favourite and why? For me, I have always made use of Spotify because it offers me more features, unlike YouTube music.

I don't see Spotify as having no competitor, or YouTube's favorite is just the clips, it still has a lot to do until it reaches Spotify, and this is my testimony, but what's wrong with this is that it has every advantage of subscribing, unlike YouTube

I recently signed up to YouTube Premium as I have been watching a lot of historical and educational videos. The upshot, which I didn't know about, is that YouTube Music is included in that. There is nothing on Spotify that isn't on YT Music.

Wow! So, it is safe to say that YT music is a great substitute for Spotify, and you wouldn't bother paying for Spotify premium, right?

I have access to both Spotify Premium and YouTube Music and have to say that Spotify Premium is my favourite by far. I have always liked to have access to my music to listen to wherever I am, in the car, from my Alexa device, from my laptop, my phone, and even my Xbox when I am playing games and YouTube music at the moment does not allow you to listen on other devices such as Xbox or an Alexa device, that is where Spotify wins for me.

Spotify can only beat YouTube Premium by securing licensing deals with record labels and what they are doing with Podcasts. But that's only a very small segment of the market.

With YouTube Premium, as mentioned by @Pete Griffin, you get an ad-free YouTube experience along with a YouTube Music player that allows you to swap between the video and the song. That's pretty neat. I don't think Spotify has the rights to videos to be able to do that, but I could be wrong there.

YouTube Premium also adds a feature to the YouTube app where you can play videos in a smaller window or completely in the background.

YT is the clear winner for me.

I think so. Spotify offers everyone to listen music and podcast with it’s full vibes. Youtube offers to watch and listen at the same time.
So, I fond both of them.
