The number of push-ups you could do demonstrates your total fitness level. For me, I can't do more than 15 push ups all together. How many full push-ups can you perform consecutively?
Oh God, it's depressing to think. Honestly, I probably couldn't do more than 5 push ups. I'm a really big guy though - physically fit in most other ways, a regular football/rugby player, but my pure weight and shoulder breadth makes it difficult to do push ups very well.
When I was training push-ups in resistance mode for a long time to increase my reps, I managed to do almost 100 in a row, right now I will be able to do about 50.
I can do 20 push-ups without stopping. Push-ups stand out as among my most preferred exercises because I focus on developing my upper body strength at the moment. A few daily sets helps a lot in my fitness goal.
