We all experience life in different ways. How we're raised is how we often view the world, so it got me thinking. Does pure evil truly exist? We know us humans are capable of doing evil acts, but again what do you view as evil? There's the obvious contenders such as killing another living creature, harming innocent people such as children and animals, etc. But then again you've got people who believe that anyone who does drugs are pure evil human beings. Then on the other side of the coin, can a person be purely a good person? Everyone has secrets and demons, I don't think pure evil or pure good truly exists. Every single human has a different opinion on how society should work, I also don't believe in a God or angels because I'm not that religious. So perhaps this is why I don't believe pure evil or pure good exists in the world and I think it's all grey. Life isn't black and white, so pure evil and pure good cannot exist because this would mean the world is black and white.

I believe that both pure good and pure evil can exist. I've seen people that exhibit pure good in every action they take, and then we can go to the extreme of Hitler for pure evil.

The question then becomes mental faculty: Are those people who exhibit pure good and pure evil wired that way, or is it something deeper, like spiritual?

People who do pure evil think they're doing the ultimate good. For instance, Hitler was just some anti-communist fanatic and he blamed Jewish intellectuals for Communism.

We would have needed his intact brain to confirm whether what he did was something he thought was good or evil, in the sense that I'm speaking, as we are witnessing American football players with CTE.

There could be something wrong with their brain, and at that point, can we blame them? Society today has already given people with mental health issues a pass on things to a certain extent. So, if it's a hardwired problem, are they to be judged as purely good or pure evil when it comes down to it?

Not defending Hitler. Just want to know how good and evil tick, whether it's a connection in the brain that just doesn't know or if it's spiritual and doing it for reasons beyond the body.
