It's not like I want to question God but this have been a serious worry for me over the years. I tend to see people whom I know to be good but they seem to suffer so much in life. It seems like those whom are evil and wicked have things easier for them.

Why don't God intervene immediately and never allow good people to suffer?

Wow! I have fully understood your concern and it is something that most people have asked themselves including myself. But one day, I concluded that suffering is not a result of men’s virtue or their evil nature but rather a part of life. God may give good people a hard time, challenge them. It is what I see happening everywhere.

Everyone suffers period. Good and bad is relative. Everyone has some good and some bad in them, it depends what they choose to show to people, and what people choose to see. Everyone is answerable to karma and until that is done, suffering is just one part of life. Its easy to magnify our difficulties and forget the happy moments we had in life. One should think positive during the difficult times and have faith. Nothing lasts forever, bad times get over too.

God tells us to rejoice in our sufferings in the book of James. Suffering is a time of growth for us, and we have to learn to persevere through it. If God immediately took it away, what's the point of getting to heaven if everything on the world is perfect?

I am not really bothered about what a cosmic power outside the world tells or thinks.

What I feel is, suffering is common to everyone. Humans have to suffer in one way or the other and what ways each of them suffers is very unique to themselves.

Its just that when good people suffer, it evokes more sympathy in people surrounding them and more guilt in those who have caused that suffering.
