There is a huge appeal for true crime series. Even though I no longer watch true crime shoes, I used to watch them in the past, and I know that are still very popular. Do you watch crime show? Why do you think they are so captivating?
True crime is one of my favorite TV show genres. I have watched "Evil Genius," "The Keepers," and "American Murder: The Family Next Door." I felt devastated by the latter, particularly because it involved Shanann Watts, who was pregnant then, and her two beautiful children. Her husband ended their lives.
I find true crime TV series captivating because I am curious about what happened to the victims, and I always hope the cases are resolved.
I used to watch them but switched to documentaries. I think these are much more grounded in facts and do not have the drama and dramatizations I came to dislike about true crime TV shows
I love true crime shows because it's educational. My favorite is 48 Hours. It's very interesting to see detectives figure out some mysteries as it concerns crime. It’ll help you understand why people do bad things and it helps you stay safe by learning from them.
True crime shows teach us lessons. Forensic Files and Snapped show how police catch the bad guys. I like to see how technology could help in solving different crimes. These shows also make us think about being safe. I watch them to understand why bad things happen.
While there are vital lessons to be learnt from true crime TV shows, many of them are exaggerations of true events. They are actually dramas inspired by real life events. True crime shows can present a more accurate account of events only if we hear from people that are directly affected by crimes, such as the victims.
There was a time I was obsessed with watching crime series. It's one of the shows I enjoyed watching and it's absolutely fascinating too. I like how it combine problem solving and understanding of people’s minds. There is a lot to learn from the show.
