A good song can act like a therapy when one is facing tough situations. Sometimes when all seems not to be going well I calm myself with my favorite songs. That exact moment when I feel the songs, it calms me down.

Do you sometimes feel this way too?

Many songs have gotten me through tough times in my life, and they just so happened to pop up when I needed them the most, as in they were released in the period I was in those times.

Then, I have general songs that I can flip to that I can relate to for the past that aren't those original songs and serve as some sort of "therapy" or reminder too. An example of this would be the song (but primarily the music video as it tells a story with text and visuals) Five Finger Death Punch - The Wrong Side Of Heaven. This is because, through visual storytelling, you can see that the person you think would be the strongest, and the person you think would be the "weakest", isn't necessarily the outcome in real life, as the strongest has the break, while the weakest is there to essentially be the strongest and help out someone that's down.

I can get choked up with that music video when the cop gives the guy a break and also when the bearded one is handed a pocket tissue and is helped up.

Music helps me get through tough times depending on the situation. Sometimes there certain situations where music won't help change my mood.

Music can definitely help you get through tough times. If i’m mad, sad or in a bad mood, listening to music can help me feel better.

These are the times I feel like just disconnecting and going on a camping trip in the middle of nowhere. There's nothing like silence and no ambient light at night to think things through more clearly.

Hope you have found an outlet other than music to help you get through. Once you have, anything is possible.

Sleep. Time heals most wounds, and usually when I wake up after a good rest I'm in a better mood.

Can always get a dopamine release from a run ("runner's high"), then go to sleep, and possibly wake up even happier. 😄

Sometimes that silence is absolutely necessary, especially when you have had to deal with some people's baggage over some time. Being alone can help gather ones thoughts and redefine some goals ✅

Music can make you feel good when you are sad, frustrated, stressed out, or simply in bad mood. But I do not think music can actually help you in tough time. Well, I do not know anyone who was able to recover and fight tough situations right after listening to music.

Yes, listening to music is therapeutic for me. When I am feeling sad or depressed, I listen to music. It makes me feel calm and forget my problems for a tad while. Sometimes, when I can’t sleep, I listen to music that plays nature sounds.

Music is one unique way of calming our brains. I always turn to listening to music during hard moment. This is because sounds has the ability to induce relaxation and bring quality sleep to me.
