discuss Do you think Thor: Love and Thunder is overrated?

So I was discussing with my friends about the Thor series, and some of them said that Love and Thunder is overrated. According to them, it has too many comedic touches and childish antics, which kinda relegates Thor from a fearsome God to children's story book character.
Personally, I don't find anything wrong in the movie. It highlights to what extent a parent can go for their children, and that even the children can be heroes in their own way.
What do you think about Thor: Love and Thunder?

The movie was like a joke to me. At one point, I felt like it was a comedy that I'm waiting. It's the only Thor movie I watched only once.

Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion but for me, I see Thor: Love and Thunder to be fun. The story is touching and I fell in love with how Thor cares about his friends and family. So, he’s funny and strong at the same time.

The only person I enjoyed watching in his appearance in Thor : Love and Thunder was Bale. He owned his character very well in the movie unlike Thor.

Thor: Love and Thunder has a mix of action and humor. For me, I haven't seen any movies that escape criticism from people. Some would like it, while others would not. But I think it's cool to see Thor being funny. The movie covers lots of things. It shows love, family, and being brave.

I think the directors and producers of Thor: Love and Thunder were trying to go for something like Thor:Ragnarok, but they failed miserably at it. To me, the movie can off as mocking or belittling Thor more than making him funny. The movie is funny, don't get me wrong, it's just the portrayal of the character that I did not appreciate.

It is not an overrated movie for me, but it would give it a "meh" especially when compared to other superhero movies.

I have not watched this movie but I think all of these super hero movies are overrated. They do not have any substance, they only have CGI actions, not even real actions

How did the movie do in the box office compared to the other Thor movies? It was very bad, so yes the movie didn't live up to the expectations. I didn't like it so much.
