What's your favourite between using a prepaid or postpaid plan for your smartphone and internet connection?

If you're using the prepaid plan, why choose it over the postpaid plan option?

I prefer the prepaid plan because it is transparent and straightforward. With such a plan, I can choose how much data and call minutes I want. There is nothing like a surprise of huge bills at the end of the month. Prepaid plans are known to have better rates for data and calls.

I like my paid plan(s) as one phone has unlimited talk and the other has unlimited data (with unlimited tethering — that they got rid of in favor of 25GB, but I'm grandfathered in).
