discuss Do you believe in the afterlife?

Do you believe that an afterlife truly exists? Or do you believe that once we're dead, that's it and there's absolutely nothing after death? I think I'm an oddball when it comes to this subject, because I believe in an afterlife but I also believe in reincarnation. I think those who get reincarnated over and over again haven't found their purpose in life, so whenever they make it to the afterlife they get a chance to come back and try and find that purpose. Then those who are satisfied with their life, they get to chill in the afterlife whether it be heaven or hell. I also believe that ghosts are just souls who aren't aware that they're dead.

Yes, in Christian way of looking at it. Dead will be resurected by Jesus Christ and there will be final judgement, who is for heaven and who is not. It is explained plenty of times as the scariest judgement to ever happen. I assume all people that ever lived will see your sins, like being totally naked and whatever pervert thought and act you had, everyone will see and you will feel ashamed of it. My guess.

Yes, I believe in afterlife. I have had an experience with the supernatural to know for sure there's an afterlife. Also, my religion supports the existence of life after death.

I'm currently a practicing catholic Christian which tell you so much about the reason why I believe in afterlife.

That is actually a beautiful way to look at it. Being religious, you know how to behave properly so that you can wait for reward in the afterlife. Kindness, being honest, and compassion are values that have no conflict with people’s religion as they are one way or the other acceptable in different beliefs.

I believe in afterlife but I'm not really sure about reincarnation even after hearing a lot of stories about reincarnation. Christians and Muslims belief in afterlife (heaven and hell) but not reincarnation. Many other religions actually believe in reincarnation, e.g. Hinduism and Buddhism.

I believe in the Christian idea of an afterlife. However, the concepts of heaven and hell seem to0 good and bad, respectively, to believe.

I believe in the concept of Samsara. According to this belief popular in Hinduism and Buddhism, death is just the end of your body, your soul lives forever and when you body dies, your soul will take another body and will be born again. This process continues until your soul is liberated.
