I don't know if it's possible to host an "Ask me anything' section where you would invite actors or professionals in the film industry. Where members can participate in the discussion and ask any questions wanted.

In my opinion, I think it would be great to have a Community Spotlight section on ROFLMAO. Here is the catch, each month, a member could be featured, sharing their interests and hobbies. I believe it would be a great way to get to know each other better. This will also help in building a stronger community.

What do you think?

That could work well as a new sub-forum in the Welcome Lounge (formerly Real Introductions).

But who would be chosen to be featured? Would the staff select someone, or could users ask to be featured? Also, how long should each feature last to keep things organized? Maybe one feature per week or per month could work.

A Community Spotlight has been proposed, which is essentially the same as an Ask Me Anything.

The main question is if the Spotlight or AMA would be open for anyone to post anytime, or if members would need approval first. To keep each Spotlight or AMA special, there should also be a set time between them, like one week or one month.

I think it would be better for users to do it voluntarily.

The Community Spotlight forum has been launched! It can also function as an Ask Me Anything, depending on how each user chooses to structure their thread. A notice above the forum provides instructions on how to apply for a spot, with the application process subject to change.

Check out the full announcement for all the details, and secure your spot in a future Community Spotlight by replying to the thread!
