True that. 💯

We have a small Christmas tree too, that we haven't set up yet. This year will be hell during the night with a 4th cat. Last year, the tree ornaments would be play toys all night, and we'd have to decorate all over again the next morning. So, we're putting it off from December 1st (when we usually did it) to tomorrow (the 15th) so we don't have to clean up as much every morning. :p

I think all cats are obsessed with Christmas trees 😂.. They so much enjoy climbing them. Once it fall if it's not strong on the base, they run like bats out of hell 😂.

This is my little tree.

Today wasn't a good one for me. Watching Manchester United outplay my team Manchester City for the first time in years and to lose the match too was very hard to take.

Not a sports fan, but know how bummed people can get when their teams lose. Next time, maybe!
Good afternoon everyone!
Afternoon. Haven't seen you in the chat recently. What did you end up doing for lunch?

Lateral Raise GIF by Crossfit Boran

In the sporting section of the store getting a quick shoulder workout in. Probably not gonna buy a new set for 5 pound increment.

Whelp, I guess I'm starting a weight collection again. They seem to retain their value quite well with being priced $1/pound before and going on $1.5-$2 now, which is how I rationalized it, and there is demand for them when they go up for sale, along with easy access to get a short workout in to keep my muscles active.

I regret selling my 50s, 55s, 60s, and 65s when I moved into this house, but now I'm working towards different fitness goals by lifting to technical failure.

So I have a set at the lower ranges 10s (for rear delt and forearm work), 15s for burning out lateral raises, and 20s for curls, tricep work, and to finish off my chest with close grip dumbbell presses, buying (1) 10 pound, (2) 15 pound, and (1) 20 pound dumbbell to make a pair of each coming in at about $110 after I price-matched Amazon. I'll probably pick up 25s next month...

Yeah, everything is good. Just have my own communities to run and be active on as well.
I feel you there.

I'm getting articles of incorporation ready and a business plan, among other things, while trying to balance two sites and put up a 3rd.

Soon as I get the line of credit, it'll be much easier as I'll likely have a part/full-time helping hand.

What sort of content do you have on the two sites?
This one and ForumDiscovery are the two main focuses right now with features in the pipeline. It's hard to manage as I'm also going over articles of incorporation, business planning, etc., for the larger picture. I hope to have 25 active and large forums, whether built from the ground up or purchased, by the end of 2025: my Project 2025.

IIJM (Is It Just Me?) is a going to focus on mental health and JVHV (Just Veterans Helping Veterans) - both four-letter dot coms for memorable names - is going to be a US-Veteran-focused community, relaunched, focusing on Veteran benefits as well as support.

I'm hoping JVHV can form as a 501(c)(3) non-profit with member upgrades/donations going to Vets in need with the community and/or Board deciding who gets payouts of what and why. This will be quite the undertaking to organize as well as I need very trustworthy people in positions to handle money correctly, preferably higher-ranking retired military members that also want to look out for Veterans in need.

There are a few other forums that don't have quite as much done as those two right now that I'm also working on as well as scoping out forums to scoop up. If yours is for sale... or you want equity... we can talk. :-P

This sounds like a great project. You should see if you can get partnered with local trades or something to help them find jobs post military service.

Have to work from the ground up first. But, the money could be used for that, on top of the education benefits they receive, if they are not enough for whatever reason.

I got my MBA and about $80,000 in housing over 36 months using my benefits.

This season haven't been easy for us. We have won just 1 match in 12 game. I hope things change next year or it's going to be a real struggle.
As a spectator of spectators (other sports fans), I can see how devastating this is for them sometimes.

I just hate it when a team wins/loses and the stadium goes outside and riots. But, that might just be a US thing.

I'm finally done with my Christmas shopping. Now, I'm 100% ready for celebration and holidays.
That's great! I finished mine over the past weekend.
I finished mine up earlier this year too, but I always seem to forget something, and lucky enough to grab it on Christmas Eve when I finally remember what I left out.

Come to think of it, I completely forgot about stocking stuffers. 🫠

Hello ROFLMAO

Christmas preparations are well on, I'm having to get some gift wrapping done today and got some last minute shopping to be completing over the weekend... hope everybody here has a great day and is doing well on their own Christmas preparations! :)
