I didn't get a Thanksgiving meal this year.Ugh. My stomach is killing me today...so much ham and turkey still in there...
How's everyone else doing?
Oh I hate that. Sorry to hear you had to donate blood.I didn't get a Thanksgiving meal this year.
I went to donate blood thinking that there'd be enough for everyone, as you had to preregister, but the turkey was to the bone by my 1300 time slot and the rest of the dishes were barren too.
I'm a regular donor and have maybe over 30 donations done by now. As I'm on TRT, my red blood cell count will go up which increases the risk of heart attack or stroke. The best-known practice or method of reducing it is by donating blood every 2-3 months.Sorry to hear you had to donate blood.
That's a really good cause. Awesome work.I'm a regular donor and have maybe over 30 donations done by now. As I'm on TRT, my red blood cell count will go up which increases the risk of heart attack or stroke. The best-known practice or method of reducing it is by donating blood every 2-3 months.
Plus, it goes to the military blood bank, which I have past ties to, so it helps save up to 3 lives per donation in that community.
I also get community service hours for doing it, which I'm saving up for to put in for my first (bronze) President's Volunteer Service Award pretty soon.
It's really a win-win for donating blood. Just 30 minutes out of a day and don't have to worry too much about my health.
Morning!Good morning everyone!
I’m doing good. I had ate some more ham earlier today.Ugh. My stomach is killing me today...so much ham and turkey still in there...
How's everyone else doing?
Hope you feel well soon.I'm currently recovering from flu and malaria. I've drowned myself in drugs for the past few days. I seriously hate being ill. It makes me feel horrible.
