off-topic Can You Stop Laughing at Your Own Jokes

When you crack a joke, do you laugh or not? Well, as far as I am concerned, I cannot stop laughing at my own jokes and I am always amazed at stand up comedians who do not laugh at their own jokes. How can they not laugh at the jokes that makes everyone in the audience laugh?

I don't even think that I'm funny or even my jokes either but people still laugh at them. I don't if this happens to others but when I hear my own voice, I don't seem to like it that much

Laughing at one's own jokes is not cool in my books. As the owner of the joke, the audience should be the ones doing the laughing.

This one has me guilty as charged of laughing my behind off at my own jokes. I believe it is because we do not expect our jokes to be that good and it is amusing to see people’s reaction to them. Well, stand-up comedians might simply be better at masking it, but I’m sure they laugh to themselves too.

I have seen stand up comedians laugh at their own jokes but the professional ones do not. They control their laughter. For most of us, we star laughing, or at least smiling widely before we even tell the job. Just the thought of it makes us laugh
