Epicurean means some who enjoys food, drinks and merry making. This word comes from Greek philosopher Epicurus who lived before the Christ. I am epicurean by nature, what about you?
I consider myself a bit of an amateur chef. I enjoy cooking for the family or for friends when we have them over. I love trying new things. I love food and I'm a bit of a wine snob.
Eating and drinking for survival and actually enjoying food and drink are two different things, right? Well, I know a lot of people who eat just because they are hungry, there is no enjoyment in their eating habit.
I used to eat and drink for the enjoyment of things. But then, I was rushed to finish my meals because that is time away from the job that could get someone harmed.
I love eating. But sadly, things you love in life, you cannot have it too often. I have to watch my weight. I am fun loving person, so I guess I am epicurean
