It's definitely the number 1 citizen in my country whom is the president of the country. After him, it's the vice president.
This is often the President. However, it has to be said that the scale of their powers is somehow limitless depending on the constitution, the laws, the political system, of the country. At times other people or other entities like the judiciary, legislative or executive arm of Government, or even the business community, may also hold a lot of powers too.
In our country, the Prime Minister has the executive power and the President is ceremonial. Technically speaking, the Prime Minister is responsible to the parliament and he cannot do anything but in practice he can do almost anything. The Prime Minister has sent people to jail just for saying Prime Minister is corrupt on Facebook.
It's the President. Right now it's Biden and in a few weeks it'll be Trump.
I believe there has been some confusion. Joe Biden is still the President. There are so many powers that are vested on the President in the country. The President is the most authoritative figure in the United States. They also get to decide a lot of issues of the nation.
The president of my country has absolute powers and those that occupy the office and understand the weight of those powers use it to their benefits. They can get a state governor impeached and removed. They can facilitate the recall of a federal lawmaker. That power only becomes controlled when the federal legislative arm is not rubber stamped.
