Yeah, that's very correct about both Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi being past their prime but that doesn't mean Cristiano Ronaldo is slowing down at all. He set his sight on reaching 1000 goals mark. He will likely do it by the end of this season or next season.

I personally prefer Lionel Messi over Cristiano Ronaldo. I am not taking anything from Ronaldo being a great player but Messi is a more complete player. He is a playmaker more than just a goal scorer. If Messi is locked from scoring, you are certain he would create chances for other players to score if the other players rise up to the occasion.
