discuss While with family, do you skip intimate scenes?

Most movies these days have invariably, intimate scenes that might not be appropriate for kids and may be awkward to watch with other family members for some. While watching a movie with entire family, suppose such a scene presents on the screen and you have the remote control, what would be your next course of action? Once, I was in similar situation and I had panicked so bad ( I was quite young then), that I had mistakenly increased the volume rapidly rather than switching the channel

When we watched the few (count with just one hand) movies that were R rated when my stepdaughter was little, we didn't watch them when she was home. Now we don't watch TV at all.

My stepdaughter will watch stuff like Rio, Scooby Doo, etc. and I'll watch it with here LOL. But I can't tell you the last time I've turned on a TV myself.

I watch a lot of YouTube but not intimate videos.

Whenever I'm watching movies with my family, I make sure to have my remote very close to me. Any time I spot any awkward scenes, I skip immediately because those scenes are not appropriate for kids. In most cases, whenever I want to watch a film with my family members, I prefer to choose family friendly movies.
