That's intense! No matter how strong the athlete is, a heavy slap will still have an impact on their health. Who even comes up with such a sport?
Do you by any chance know the amount of money they are paid? For someone to engage in such a deadly sport, they must be paid hugely. Big enough to feed their generations.
They are not paid well enough by my account. Dana doesn't pay his UFC fighters well compared to other MMA companies. If he doesn't pay his real fighters well, he won't pay the slap fighters well either.
I have a bit of a separate reaction to the topic. My take is that it's better to make a reform of some sports that we tagged dangerous. Instead of wiping them off entirely, we could modify the rules to make them appealing and to enhance safety.

From a simple Google search, take this with a heap of salt, they are paid between $10,000 and $50,000 for a typical fight. High-tier athletes can be paid up to $500,000, but these are UFC tier names that bring a lot of eyes to the sport.
Slap fighting is a no for me. Another one of the sports that need to be scrapped is bullfighting. It inflicts a lot of pain on animals.
I’m surprised how the athletes have voluntarily agreed to participate in a slapping competition. It's not a good sport to engage in as it can cause mental health issues.
As for slapping competitions, I also think that this is unadvisable. They are capable of causing both mental and physical problems. I also believe that they should ban bullfighting too.
Dana White is a greedy fat man. He's not even paying his UFC fighters and was wailing one time for paying them fight bonuses which he already scrapped. I never expected him to pay the slap fighters anything better.
Why do you think golf should be scrapped?
In major golf tournaments like The Masters, U.S. Open, and PGA Championship, the total purses range from $15 million to $20 million. Why would such sports be scrapped? This is my first time of hearing someone say golf should be scrapped.
Lol maybe because I don't understand it much and even if I am aware of the rules, still it's quite boring to say the least and all their equipments are so expensive that no normal person can afford these.
Rugby is dangerous sport otherwise.
