From time to time I have seen people discuss about their favorite TV genres. As far as I am concerned, the best genre for me is sci-fi. I like the idea of traveling to another planet and interacting with other species, or ideas or maybe find out about some superior technology? My favorite are television series like Star Trek and Doctor Who. What about you? What is your best TV series of that genre?

I like crime dramas, from on the beat catching criminals, to processing evidence and DNA to convict them, to the courtrooms finding them guilty.
All three areas of our justice system at work. However, I like them as separate shows as I feel when you put them together, it creates too many subplot lines and is harder to follow.

I really love watching comedy. It is so satisfying to LOL to your favorite series. Whether it is a black and white show like Friends or a show like Brooklyn Nine-Nine. any comedy show always makes me happy. Besides, they are perfect for watching after a long day at work
In my opinion, the action genre makes the most sense to me. I enjoy watching programs that have tough action and some kind of adrenaline pumping moments. One of my favorite shows of this is Arrow.
I also like crime dramas. I have watched quite a lot and I can say that they are so thrilling. The investigative process is always fascinating to me.
If you are looking for the best mood-boosters, then you will have to go for the comedy shows. I always believe that laughter is great therapy.
Have you ever seen the show The rookie? I’ve watched some episodes. It’s quite entertaining.

I have many favorite TV genres, and one of them is horror. I've been a fan of horror for a long time, both when it comes to movies and TV series. I enjoy the scare factor, as it makes watching more fun and exciting.

Horror is a wonderful genre. The scary factor could be very exciting making the experience more fulfilling. If you like horror tv series you may like series such as Stranger Things, Walking Dead, American Horror Story and so on.
I love fantasy, action & adventure, and some historical drama.
Those are exciting genres! Show that belongs to the genre of Fantasy and action adventure generally have great plots and interesting characters. They can also be quite entertaining as well.

I like various kinds of genre. However, there are certain kinds of genre I really like. I like shows related to science. I really love mysterious content. I also love to watch documentaries related to mysterious things. I love astronomy as well. However, I also like horror documentaries as well.
I’m almost the same as I also enjoy reading science fiction and mystery books. Series such as Stranger Things , The X Files, and Black Mirror are among my favorite’s. I also like watching space and astronomy programs like Cosmos and The Universe as well.
