discussWhat’s the most scary movie you ever watched?
My body remains tense the evening after watching The Conjuring. I stayed on edge during the entire movie because it's so intimidating and scary. I must agree that the contents is so unsettling. Which terrifying film do you consider the scariest?
The Shining is the greatest horror experience to me. To be honest with you, this film creates an extreme discomfort. I watched the film with my siblings and all of us found it so frightening that we could not even sleep after we watched it.
If you are looking to watch first class horror film, then go try The Babadook. It's a psychological horror film that tells the story about a mother and her son who must fight against a monster. The movie was slow at the beginning but as events unfolds, it became so tense afterwards.
I've watched all the Paranormal Activity movies and the Halloween movies with Michael Myers in them. I can't say they were the scariest thing I've ever seen, although I did enjoy them.
For me, its the Nun. The very idea of a nun being a devilish ghost is scary and it shakes the foundations of all what I believe in. In that sense, there is not only a film based horror that I am experience, but also a faith based one.
However, the first one was more scary, the rest of the movies were watered down and lost that charm.
I don't tend to watch many horror movies as I don't like how they make me feel. I have been known to watch scary movies before bed and then not been able to sleep.
One scary movie I remember watching that I would say is the scariest I have seem is Stephen Kings IT, that movie left me not wanting to go to the bathroom due to fear of Pennywise being in the drains.
