There are many things I would like to know about Tai Chi now that I’ve been hearing much about it recently. They say it is good for the body balance and can help in relaxing the body but what are those benefits that are associated with it? Does anyone know someone that has practiced Tai Chi? I'd love to hear about it. Perhaps @Harsh World
can help out.

I have been watching people practice Tai Chi on YouTube for the past two or three months now and I can see a lot of prove that it helps. Tai Chi increases balance and coordination since you are building up your core muscles and legs.

Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art, while Karate is Japanese. Though, if you asked about Karate, I wouldn't have much to offer up besides that I had my daughter go through 3 belts (4 if you count the white belt that everyone has to have) while in elementary by one of the top Karate instructors, who practices the sport professionally and teaches as well.

I didn't cover China in my Asian studies (undergraduate certificate level at a university) to know much about China at all. My focus was mainly on Japan and Korea.

I also haven't practiced it but I wish to. This topic made do a little search and I found out that Tai Chi is excellent for increasing balance and enhancing our levels of relaxation. It’s a rather slow exercise that is however good for flexibility and strength. Tai Chi is done by so many people to make them feel relaxed and get a stable state of mind.

Tai Chi is really great for increasing body balance and relaxation. I would most definitely advise that you seek out an instructor or a Tai Chi class in your area as that can help in getting the right form and techniques.
