As someone who loves movies, my interest continues to grow when I see why others attend the theater. I want us to deal on what drives moviegoers to actually go to the theaters. The growing availability of streaming movies has not reduced the number of people who want to see films at the cinemas.

The real magic in movies is seen when people watch together. Seeing a movie with other audience makes the whole event come alive. The big screen bring an experience or bond you cannot duplicate in your living room.

I'd say the trailers. There are some movie trailers that actually creates so much curiosity and anticipation that people will have no choice but to go and watch it to satisfy that curiosity.
It is such a shame that most movies don't live up to what is portrayed in the trailers.
