We have electric cars and self driving cars are still in the beta testing phase. What else bigger are we likely to see burst up on the big stage?

I think the next big technology will be quantum computing. It can solve problems that are too hard for computers now. This can help greatly in medicine, finance, and climate research.

I think that's partly covered by what AI can do right now because we haven't even scratched the surface of all the capabilities of AI. There's more that computer programme can do we haven't explored yet.

This is something I've had in mind for a very long time but I'm thinking in the direction of what I see in most SCI-FI movies where they create a portal that takes one to another dimension or realm.
