I don't go into a relationship for the fun of it. Rather, I want it to be for a purpose, so I expect that the relationship will lead to something better, possibly marriage.

It might seem selfish, but my dream now is just to die before my partner. I know I couldn't handle that loss, while I know my wife is strong enough, and would be financially supported, to live on to be 100+ years old (she's Japanese).
