This is a thread to discuss anything related to movies.
Action movies are one of my favorite genres. Some of my top picks include Die Hard, Mad Max, and John Wick. I've watched Mad Max over three times, and I still enjoy it. Hehe
Those are great choices. I like action movies like Die Hard, Mad Max, John Wick . They are full of action and without taking a breath to pause at all. I keep wondering why there are fight scenes and great scripts, which make me sit on the edge of my seat.
All of the best war/military movies I've watched are among my favourite action movies. Also, I love IP Man movies so much as well. I will also add all Denzel Washington movies especially the latest one Gladiator II.
Die Hard! A great inclusion to this list. Bruce Willis is superb in these movies.
I can't remember the last movie Bruce Willis acted before his health issues get worse but I think it's still one with the plot of war as usual. It's where he thrives very well.
You mentioned the John WIck films, I'm a big fan of those! Keanu Reeves is a great actor, very underrated in my opinion anyway.
I'm a big fan of the Die Hard films. Especially the first three. It did seem to get a little bit ridiculous with 4.0, but I still love them! The Matrix is also a personal favourite, probably because of our old friend Keanu again, but it reminds me so much of childhood. I must've watched it at "bedtime" 100 times!

300 is one of my favourite historic action movies. It is based on the Battle of Thermopylae fought in 480 BC.The battles were intense and the depth of the betrayals was astonishing.
While 300 might be far from reality even when they say it is based on history, I must say it is a great action movie. Troy is another great action movie that is also based on history (but some call it it is just a myth)
The whole 300 spartan armies died in that movie. It was a very big tragedy. If they had been victorious, I would have so much loved it.
Gladiator II and Kraven The Hunter is two recently released movies that have enough actions which I enjoyed watching so much. The actor in Kraven The Hunter have a bit of freakish supernatural strength. They are both interesting movies.
John Wick, Mad Max: Fury Road, and Die Hard—impressive action sequences and strong protagonists.
Great choices. Those movies give us a non-stop action packed sequence. I would also like to include the series like The Bourne, and Casino Royale. The fight scenes in these films are very interesting and thrilling too. It makes one want to watch them over and over again.
