This is an emotional one. I couldn't describe exactly how I felt when I was watching the movie. It was a well written plot, showcasing how the police feel more threatened with blacks than the white- even when the black is holding an hair comb and the white is armed with a revolver!
THUG LIFE: The Hate U Give Little Infants Fu*ks Everybody

That will always resonate with me.
 
This is a really good film, and the portrayal of how torn the girl is between doing the right thing by her friend and giving evidence against the police officers, but also how scared she is about the potential repercussions for herself and her family, make it a really emotional watch. It's sad to know that things like this really are happening in America, too.
