Movie information in first post provided by The Movie Database
The Green Mile is a movie that will melt your heart. It’s a very special movie that will make you happy, sad and even will make you pumped up for something. And it is based on a book written by Stephen King and tells us about a group of people living and working in a prison.

The shooting took place in a prison located in the territory of Louisiana and it was telling the story of prisoners and jailers in the 1930s. I like John Coffey in this movie. He performed well in his role.

This movie explores how John Coffey brings a positive transformation to lives of the people he meets especially a guard named Paul Edgecomb. They eventually become good friends afterwards. It's a very wonderful movie to watch.

I absolutely love this movie! I've read the book also and the film is one of very few that I really think does justice to the book, Stephen King is such an amazing writer! John Coffey is the kind of character that brings a tear to your eye in sympathy, even though you know the story isn't wholly true, you can certainly see how a similar situation (without the "magical" powers) could arise in the justice system.

10/10 movie!
