Do you read privacy policies on websites?
I used to love creating them. Now I use AI to do it and then I scan it to make sure it's legit. The reason I no longer enjoy creating them is because they don't matter anymore.
Sure, they matter enough that your website needs it to make money and have some protections from liability ,but the part that makes me not care is the fact that no one cares about their privacy anymore.
Don't believe me? Look at social media.
We have real names of people sharing the utmost irresponsible things. They share their big expensive toys. They share their friends from the neighborhoods they live in, so it's easier to find out where they live. They share when they're going on trips so you know when their house is empty. They share pictures of their house, which can help you determine where they live.
Open-source intelligence used badly - happens all the time.
The CIA and all them don't have to create a database to spy on us, we do that for them, freely.
How do you feel about this? Do we even care about our privacy anymore?
