Every league has its strengths. La Liga (Spain) boasts of its technical prowess and the European success of its clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona. But the English Premier League is often considered by many as the best in the world. It is very competitive with a huge global following, strong financial strength and top players. Which league do you think is the best?

I believe it is a close competition between the English Premier League and the Spanish La Liga. I'd say the La Liga when Ronaldo and Messi were still dominating the league then. But now, not so much.
The Premier League has overtaken it now.

I agree with you. It's why most players move from England to Spain when they want to switch. It's usually between Real Madrid and Barcelona they choose but things have gone so bad for Barcelona now with them not being able to register players they signed.

Barcelona seems to be okay with their academy players at the moment. I mean, the likes of Cubarsi, Casado and Pedri (who by the way just signed a new contract) are keeping their place in the first team.
So I don't think they'd be worried about not being able to sign or register new players.

They can't resit not signing new players because Real Madrid are getting new big players. It's why they signed players like Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor but couldn't register them.

You left out players like İlkay Gündoğan and Franck Kessié who left the club almost immediately after they were signed and played a few games. They keep doing this recently with buying midfielders.

I was surprised by how the Gündoğan deal went side ways really quick. It was a very bad decision for him to leave Manchester City. He nearly paid for it with his career.

If not for the recent injury crisis Manchester City faced, Gündoğan wasn't going to find himself back in the team for a long time but with so many players out, he was thrown back into the mix. He couldn't perform like he used to.

No league has been able to market itself like the English Premier league. It is simply the best because it is popular and has huge following everywhere in the globe. That attracts big money which also attracts good players to the league.

Although for many years the best football league for me was the Spanish one. Nowadays I think there are leagues stronger than it, for example the English Premier League is one of them, because of the way they play football, competitiveness, and teams.

I can't sit down to watch two mid table teams in LA Liga or Serie A play. I bet you it would be very boring. But I can comfortably sit down and watch two bottom teams in EPL play and I would enjoy it. Why? The competitiveness, the energy and the pace that the league possesses.
