off-topic Public Embarrassment

Have you ever been publicly embarrassed? What happened? How did you and the people around you react?

I haven't been publicly embarrassed and I hope that doesn't happen to be because I wouldn't know how I'm going to react to it. Those whom I've witnessed experienced such got it from trying to talk a woman.

I won't go into the details LOL but it happened when I threw a brick at my cousin in anger during my childhood days

I am not a show up kind of person especially in public. But my boyfriend held me and gave me a kiss in the public gas station with more than 30 people around. I was so embarrassed and the people were just shouting, " Get a room".

One of the most embarrassing moments I experienced was when I tripped on the stairs and fell. The bad thing is that it was in front of a large crowd during a school event. That day I was trying to rush to my seat and my feet slip but I managed to get up quickly. I was so ashamed because everyone looked at me.

You better not embarrass me in public or else I would respond with equal measure of backlash. Why would you have to embarrass another person? That's disrespect. And you don't expect respect from such a person.

When I was in college, I once slipped and fell on the ground. I was so embarrassed that I pretended to be too hurt so that people would just stop laughing and come to my ad and sympathize. I eve tried to walk with a limp.

I have been publicly embarrassed. That day, some ladies decided to fight me because they thought I said something provocative to them. Before I could even explain myself, they had already created a scene. I was so embarrassed. I had no option still than to let it slide.

I was embarrassed the first time I made use of an escalator. My feet were unbalanced and I holding on to the hand rail like my life depended on it. The people at the back noticed and we're laughing. One asked 'first time?'
