What are your opinions about open relationships.

For those who dont understand, open relationship are when you already have a partner but both of you have the freedom to date another person, openly and without being in conflicts.

For me, I am a closed relationship person. But I would love to talk about open relationships and how people view it.

Nope, no and no!

I'm in a closed relationship, as I only want to be with one person and share my life with one person. If my partner or boyfriend wanted to be open, I would end the relationship as an open relationship is not for me. But good on people for having open relationships I don't have anything against them, it's just not for me, or my husband.

Yes, I understand that most of them would be totally against open relationship is.

But What I am curious to know is that what makes you against it?

It doesn't feel right, and it might feel right for others, but to me, it feels like cheating, and my husband has the same thought.

I just don't feel comfortable with it at all.

It's not just cheating but also not having regard for yourself or that of your partner.

Those who are into open relationship doesn't have any dignity for themselves.

Open relationship is not exactly a relationship, it is just a mutual understanding between sexual partners to have other sexual partners if they want to

Many of them are carrying around one sexually transmitted disease from one person to another all in the name of of having several sex partners.

I saw on Facebook the other day where two couples contracted HIV because they had a threesome with a hookup girl.

Do you think closed relationship donot result in sexually transmitted disease? Its a risk factor, I do agree, but I dont think people are carrying STDs because they have more than one sex partners.

Infact, research proves that in case of STD transmission, an open relationship is far better than cheating your only sex partner.

Let me ask, if you're just having sex with only one partner who doesn't cheat on you and you also don't cheat on her, would you get STD from her compared to when you're having sex with multiple people especially the so called one night stand?

Well, you still can.

Blood and blood products. Body fluids. A lot of possibilities.

To each their own.

I couldn't do it. I love my wife very much and wouldn't want anyone else. I couldn't imagine having anyone else to be honest no matter who it was. I'm more attracted to my wife and her personality than any other person, including a celebrity.

And I couldn't imagine her with someone else.

So, I would vote no to open relationships.

I don't think true love exists in that configuration.

I can't do open relationships. I am one person thy likes to stay in one place at a time when it comes to romantic relationships. I can't imagine having to be intimate with one person, and yet another person the following week.

At this stage of my life, if I see someone that is willing to do an open relationship, I would jump at it. Being in a committed relationship takes a lot of strength to work out. There is nothing wrong with an open relationship. Just have to plays safe in terms of intimacy.
