I have seen one or two movies that actuall originates from historical reality. Throughout my life the true-life films like "Schindler's List" and "12 Years a Slave" have constantly mesmerized me. The way true stories adapt to the screen is absolutely mindblowing. What do you think?

The reason why I like the real life moves is because it's from both factual events and added fictional elements. The movie "Hidden Figures" is one of the movies that is about historical facts as it showcase African-American women history. It's a very nice historical movie to watch.

'Clouds' is a real life story I watched some years ago. It featured story about a terminal cancer patient who's an artiste. I almost cried when he was performing his song during the last few minutes of his life. His song titled 'Clouds' was once the most streamed song on various streaming platforms.

I liked "American Survivor" starring Mark Walhberg which was a movie that was supposedly based on a true story of an event that happened in the US military operation in the Middle East. It was a really good movie too, but quite tragic.

It's quite interesting hearing about more of the facts behind the story, especially about his real-life extraction that wasn't portrayed properly in the movie.

Even I think that it is brilliant to be able to bring out a truly experiential movie to understand what people who have endured many things would have felt while undergoing that trauma.

However, what is fiction and what is fact is very relative. It takes a little research from our own side to see if what we understand by watching a film is the truest depiction of what has happened in reality. We also need to keep in mind that many a times, these are also used to build and aggrandise propaganda.

Some filmmakers try to show exactly what happened, where as some filmmakers take creative liberty. You need to understand movie is not a history and they invest a lot of money and they are in compulsion to recover investment and even profit, so they will exaggerate.
