I have an issue with Microsoft that AI is killing me on.

I apparent subscribed to Office-365 five years ago using an email or login that I no longer have. I checked everything and tried multiple usernames with no avail.

So, I called Microsoft. Got the AI, tried to get the issue resolved and it kept giving me a website link. I demanded it give me a human since it was kind of complex and it told me that a representative would not be able to help me with my issue.

And then it hung up on me.

So, I did the website thing and the end result, going through all the options was it telling me to contact the payment system to cancel any future charged.

Microsoft Office 365 stole from me, using AI, and I can't do nothing about it EXCEPT submit a pay-back request through PayPal and share the situation with them.

AI, so Brillant and so Stupid.

Oh! Sorry for that! I have fallen into that pit before but not with Microsoft. The experience I got receiving assistance from AI customer support is something we don't want happen especially if the case is severe.

There should be a way to directly talk with human representatives during customer support situations. It seems these companies are doing this deliberately because they don't want to provide proper help.

The problem with that is I believe they will only go back either 90 days or 180 days in a dispute. Though, I could be wrong.

So unfortunately, you still might be out some cash.

All I want is the last payment back which was made a few days ago.
Stick it to them, then.

I would feel the same way. Some would say it's petty because it's only a couple of dollars, but I find it standing up for what you believe in.

There have been times when I've cancelled subscriptions and was still billed a month later. Even though it is affordable, I cancelled my subscription, and I wanted my money back. It's always a fight, but it's one that I feel is worth pursuing, for myself, and hopefully teaching the company a lesson not to engage in such behavior. I don't think the companies will ever learn, as that's not as profitable as making someone fight for that little bit back over 100s or 1000s or even 10,000s of thousands of users in the same situation; they know a large percent won't fight it, so they will take it.

I experienced similar problems when dealing with automated customer support services. These systems appear to have a purpose of avoiding solutions instead of providing assistance.

The issue needed assistance for should be handled by human personnel but it was all in care of AI. I did use their social media to contact them, I think you should do the same. I’m sure they will respond quickly because they don't want their image tarnished. So, the best solution right now is to reach out to Microsoft staff through social media.

If PayPal rejects my claim, social media will be my next step. I have a page with 23K followers so that might get their attention a little faster.

As far as I am concerned, I ALWAYS fight it out.

I even fight it out when they dont give me an extra piece of KFC if they dont deliver my order within 7 minutes. Why do I do it? - Not because I cant afford it or because I view it as a luxury spending, but I think as consumers we have few rights and for the money we give, we have too less importance and so much ignorance.

Money doesnt grow on trees and companies cannot swindle money from people without giving back in terms of value.

I'm so sorry to hear that. AI has its limitations or should I say that AI is still learning. Reach out to them via their social media handle and email them; that might attract their attention and hopefully they will get a human to attend to your issue. I had faced a similar situation in the past with my cable subscription. The AI customer support could not fix the errors I was experiencing. I had to send a mail with screenshot of error message attached before it was fixed.
