I have about 200 songs mostly alternative rock. I like to keep my library curated, so only songs I really love go in.
Well, I've got a good recommendation for you, if you haven't opened the app yet, go try Spotify. I've got an enormous playlist of 1,079 songs, and I'm discovering new artists and songs every single day.
I have over 4,000 songs on my Spotify playlist.

All my songs are stored in the Spotify and I have a limited collection of 128 songs. I am thinking of ditching my spotify also and just have the songs downloaded in YT for which I pay a subscription anyway.

I used to have a huge folder of around 1000 or more songs quite a few years ago but when streaming platforms such as Spotify and Amazon Music came around, I stopped keeping music files on my PC and now choose to just stream the music I enjoy to save on disk space.
If it hadn't been for streaming services, I would more than likely still have a folder filled with those songs plus more now.

My Spotify playlist contains over 50 songs I listen to whenever I feel like it. I mostly prefer peace and quiet. Hehe

I am a music producer by profession. And I use my computer for my production, mixing and mastering. I have over 5000 songs on my laptop. Songs I have produced. Songs I love. Songs I want to sample in the future.
I am just wondering, how do you keep track of all the songs you have in your computer?
In it understandable if you have a single classification system for everything, but otherwise it would largely be a chaos in identifying what is what and which is which. Additionally, because you are a musician, you should also even be remembering which part of music has which tone and all those technicalities.
I love music too but I don't think I have more than 200 songs on my phone. I use the playlist and folders to sort them into genres, and artists. That makes it easier for me to jump on the music that I want to play. I can't imagine how you are able to track 5,000 songs, that's way too much!
I can't say for my phone, but on my laptop, I have more than 300 songs. Some are hip hop, some are rap while I even have cool songs for the calm moments. It is all about being a music person, you know.
I have quite a lot of music on my computer. I think they are about 1,500 songs. I have such a huge number of songs due to my love for music and I also love to explore different genres from electronic to rock music. I'm always searching for a new artist and new sounds that I can listen to.
I have more than 1000 songs. Each month, l am choosing new sélections to listen to when l am free.
