One of the healthy way to live is to ensure that your body digest the food you consume, even before eating more. How long does it takes the body to digest food, is it different based on the food you eat or different based on each individual?

I've never really thought about this, but have been told that it's healthy to have a daily bowel movement.

That said, as I am into fitness, I can consume a full pizza or 6 cheeseburgers on a bulk, plus other meals throughout the day, and it might take longer, up to two to three days. However, unbeknownst to me the science behind it, it's probably taking longer because of lack of fiber, but, I also want it in my system so that I can process all the calories needed for building muscle and rejuvenating the CNS (central nervous system) as lifting heavy can take a toll on it.

I think my body takes super long to digest food, I have a really slow metabolism which probably hasn't helped throughout my life with some of my weight issues. If I have a sports match in the day, I like to eat a main meal about 6 hours before the start of the game to ensure I don't feel full during.
It's good that you know that your body digest food slowly and how you adjust with your meals. On average, foods normally take between two and four hours to digest in the stomach, but this is not fixed due to issues like metabolism and tolerance among others.

It varies, but around 6-8 hours on average, depending on the meal’s size and composition.
Yes, that’s true, the duration of digestion may depend on such things as the portion of the food taken, the kind of the food that we actually consumed or it can even be the general condition of our digestive system.
