Climate change is gradually taking a toll on the world food production systems and food security. Increased temperatures normally alters the crop water requirements which has a great impact on food production. Also, frequent weather disasters reduces crop production, accessibility to food and quality of food.

Having worked close to a farmer, this is a very sensitive subject, climate change has a great impact on farming. Rising temperatures usually affect the growing period of crops. If we want to improve our methods of doing farming, it is paramount that we deal with climate change.

I do not believe that climate change affects food security as much as people want to portray it. Although with climate change there are risks, but we can curtail it by embracing enhanced technologies like irrigation. It will reduces the impacts we experience.

The climate change has huge effect on the global food system. I read that melting ice pollute the water supply and floods are also wiping out the farming land which cause an adverse effect on food production.

Food production s highly depended on climate. Even though they are manufacturing food in the lab, we heavily depend on naturally grown food. Climate change is affecting food production.
