other How do you make others write a diary?

For topics that don’t fit into other categories but still relate to hobbies and interests.
Well, I started writing diary at the age of 14 and continued until 21. However, until now I have not encouraged anyone into wiring a diary. However, I believe, if you can give them a purpose, they will certainly write. I started writing because I want to talk about something I could not share with people. Maybe you can tell people to use the diary as a confidante.

To help you remember the past when you're no longer able to recall those events as vividly as you can now.

We all age, and with age, we forget. But, a 40-year-old diary entry could help you remember or give you more insight on how life once was.

Sadly, we don't all age. To return to the premise of this thread, I have kept a diary since 1973.

I always remember as a kid, I loved to keep a diary and write all sorts in it from what I got up to that day to everything I enjoyed about my day and all my thoughts.

Unfortunately, unless someone has a strong interest in writing a diary, it can be difficult to push them to start to write a diary.

To encourage others to write a diary, I’d suggest starting with a gentle nudge—like sharing how it helps me process thoughts or memories. I might gift them a cool notebook and pen, making it feel special, or propose a fun challenge, like writing one sentence a day together. It’s all about sparking their curiosity without pushing too hard—let them find their own rhythm!
