discuss Have you ever tried Parrel Space?

A thread covering the latest news on trends, groundbreaking technologies, and digital innovations reshaping the tech landscape.
I have tried it and I don't think it is worth it by any stretch. It lags. By the way, I don't need to clone apps to use two social media accounts if I need to. There are other ways around that. Parallel Space ain't worth it.

I haven't used this one but I have used something similar in the past. It's a valuable solution which enables users to manage different accounts simultaneously on their phones.
What's the name of the alternative software like Parallel Space you used for the same purpose? I wouldn't mind trying it out to see how it compares with Parallel Space and know which one is better.

I don't need Parallel Space on my Galaxy. I'm not entirely sure if it's an Android feature or belongs to Samsung's One UI suite.

But, I can swipe down and turn on "Secure Folder" and navigate to that app. lt allows me to have a secondary installation of an app (or the same, but read from different caches to essentially be a 2nd app).

I don't really have the need to use it, but it's there if I ever do.

This is a secret some people who are using Samsung Galaxy aren't familiar with. Although, I don't think or I'm not sure if it's the feature was available in older Samsung Galaxy brands. It's better than Parallel Space because sometimes parallel space crash.

Also because it's a "secure" version only accessible by unlocking Secure Folder.

So, you could have all your financial apps in there and lend someone you don't quite trust your phone and they'll be unable to view the logged in versions of the apps that are locked away.

There are other uses for it too, but this is one case where you can have two of the same apps.

You're absolutely right. The mine is set up, I can make the secure folder disappear from the phone completely. You wouldn't even see it and not to talk about unlocking it to access apps in it. I'm sure that's the same way it works with yours right?

I renamed my secure folder to my name (Heatman). If tap on it there from the drop down and the light goes off on it, the folder will not display again in the phone untii I go back and tap on it again.

You really love this you screen name @Heatman.

I haven't seen anyone who uses their own username the way you do with your own.

Other smartphone brand need to copy this feature from Samsung.

Unfortunately, mine doesn't behave like that. I can flick it on and off and the only thing that does is make the "Secure Folder" appear when on and disappear when off from the apps list.

However, you still need the password when it's activated to open the Secure Folder app.
