Please forgive me if this isn't the place to post about Covid, but since it's medical related I figured it would fit here best. Please move this thread if it should be placed in another section. So have you dealt with this nasty virus before? I got it back in 2021, and the strain I got that time was way worse than the strain I'm currently dealing with. Both times I got Covid I had the chills really bad the first night, and a bad fever afterwards. Other than the congestion too, I wasn't out of it as much this time as I was the first time I got sick. The first two days I was somewhat out of it, but then as the days went on I felt more alert than I have in a while. That's the best way I can describe what I'm feeling now. It's super odd though, I read that this virus disguises itself as a cold or flu virus, but it can affect your brain and trigger anxiety in people that never had it so perhaps I'm getting the opposite effect since I have anxiety issues? My nose is still a bit congested, and I get a cough every once in a while but I generally feel better than I did a week ago. I picked the support prefix since if there's others who have had it, perhaps they can share what medicines they took to help with the symptoms and how to get back to their daily routine after having covid.

Oh! So sorry that you got Covid twice. But it's great that you're feeling better now. When you're sick, your body needs. I’ll advise you to drink lots of water and take medicine as it helps a lot with fever.
Drinking fluids and following doctor’s recommendations is very important especially after getting out of COVID-19. I also think that Fever and tiredness can be solved by adequate amounts of rest too.

This is really a very helpful advice because drinking a lot of water and following doctors’ advice are essential to follow when recuperating from Covid. Lots of water, and medicine can reduce the symptoms such as fever.

I thought that I did because I was just dead for 3 days. But, I didn't test on one of the at-home tests. That was during a time when we had little-to-no information on the virus or so much conflicting information out there that we had to be a bit worried. As the months passed, the worry faded.

We all got sick at the time, but it probably wasn't C-19.

I don't believe that I ever had C-19 after that illness, but I'm not going to get a test every time I get the sniffles.

I caught covid in December 2020 and was quite ill, needed a hospital stay for a few days. I've had it three times since again and only been mildly unwell and lost my sense of taste and smell for a week or so, which is annoying. It's one of those diseases I think we're just going to have to learn to live with as a society going forward now I think.

I have also had COVID twice. The first time, it was as if I had a burst of energy, and I worked around the house for 12 hours straight.
It's odd how it affects everyone differently. I'm feeling much better now btw. :) I hope I don't get it again, but it's pretty much just going to be something we'll have to deal with like the flu or cold.

It wasn't that easy for me to believe that when you were sick of COVID you were very energetic. The majority of people feel usually tired and weak. I kind of imagine what it feels like but I haven't experienced it at all. I could remember me and friends talking about how COVID affects people very differently. I think it has to do with the individual body system.

Well, it happened, and I got it twice. The second time, it affected me a little differently.

I was really scared during the period of covid 19 not to get the virus, and it actually worked. I never got the vaccine either because of the stories that I heard then, but focusing on staying and living healthy helped me to avoid it then.

Are you positive that you never had it though?

The only way to know is with an antibody test. I'm curious to know if I ever got it, and have considered getting an antibody test myself. It would only go to strengthen my resolve in the choices that I made knowing, that if I indeed got C19, and wasn't aware or was a "carrier", I made the right personal choice.

I was positive that I never had it, but it was very important that I kept the precautionary measures such as frequent washing of hands and not going in a crowded place. That was how I stayed safe. Also, if there were no places to visit, I made sure that I stayed at home and not bother.
