Movie information in first post provided by The Movie Database
First movie is somewhat made really, really good because it shows all important details of Harry's life gradually come to life. There was no rush to put it on the screen. The atmosphere is very positive and it kind a pulls you into that magical world where you desire to be a wizard as well. I read books first and then watched movies as they popped up. But this movie is maybe one of my favorite when it comes to how the movie is done (not the actual context of it). It's dull in terms of action but good in terms of how well the movie is made.

My husband adores Harry Potter, and he has schooled me on a lot of Harry Potterisms 🤣 and a lot of Harry Potter stuff. I love the sequences and the fantastical element that we later get in the Harry Potter films, and that's one of my favourite things about Phylosopher's Stone.

Harry Potter and philosopher's stone get a lot of people pumped up. Personally, I love talking about older films like this because they are more thrilling.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is a cool movie. It made me remember seeing so many kids holding Harry Potter's book in one hand and eating their food. People were so obsessed with it back then.

I love the Harry Potter Universe. It is actually my favorite fantasy world, next to Star Wars. It was directed by Chris Columbus. He is the man behind the first two Home Alone films, as well as the first two Harry Potter films. Do you think it's an interesting connection?

The three kids, really did well in the movie. It was such a good performance at such a young age. These three actors are one of the biggest reasons these films were so successful. It's such an inviting movie you wouldn't want to miss. Have you watched it? If you do, what did you learn?
