Even though movie is the product of many people with different skills working together, director is always at the helm and it depends on him whether the movie will become good or bad. Actually. directors shape the vision of a film. Who is your favorite director? What makes their work stand out? David Lynch and Roman Polanski are my favorite. Christopher Nolan is my favorite modern day director.

Anything Quentin Tarantino touches almost always turns to gold.

Ishana Night Shyamalan is proving to be good with her first debut film, The Watchers, but time will only tell if she can live up to her father, M. Night Shyamalan. I believe she draws inspiration from his creativity, and they will both go on to make great movies in the future.

Honestly, I don't have a favorite movie director. If a movie is good, I'd watch it no matter who the director is.

I love Steven Spielberg. He has directed so many great films like ‘E.T’. And ‘Jurassic Park’. He is very good at doing what can be described as making awesome movies for people to watch. I’m quite sure that he is one of the greatest movie directors in the world of filmmaking.

I just want to say that I admire all the director in Pixar. They all did a great job. They are behind Toy Story and Finding Nemo, the animated movie that children and even adults love to watch.

Even though I have a lot of favorite Hollywood directors, some of my favorite directors also are from Europe. I find Polish director Krzysztof Kieślowski's work fascinating, his movies Three Colors Trilogy is one of my favorite. Luc Besson, a French film maker is also great., He has given us movies like Lucy, Leon, and The Fifth Element.

I was so impressed by the 2024 adaptation of Shogun TV show. Justin Marks and Rachel Kondo are the brains behind it. They will be on my list.

Christopher Nolan is another director I can't leave out. I was wowed by what he did with Oppenheimer.

Quentin Tarantino is one of the most inspising and innovative directors. His expertise and experience are reflected in his films. He is also a talented actor. 'Pulp Fiction' and 'Kill Bill' are some of his films that I enjoyed.

I enjoyed watching Kill Bill. I think it's long overdue for me to rewatch it again and I'm going to do it this weekend.

Steven Spielberg is a very good movie maker. He became quite well known when he made movies like E.T’ and ‘Jurassic Park’. I’m a big fan of his movies. He is actually one of the best of all time.

But I can imagine how it might feel like after watching a movie like Interstellar.
Being able to feel the rockets of the spaceships, etc., with the powerful bass is quite an incredible experience.
By the way Inception is another great movie from Christopher Nolan.
Probably a movie I'd fit into my top 50 as well.
